ListenUp Tour SF

ListenUp Tour SF

I've been invited to join the ListenUp Tour as a member of their Solution Sprint team in San Francisco on October 28th. It's an honor to be included and I can’t wait to brainstorm with a ton of badass womxn next week...a follow up Journal post will be posted soon about what takes place on Monday and read below learn more:

Women in Hospitality United was founded on the belief that convening is a radical act and that lasting change must begin at the grassroots level. We've been inspired by the hundreds of conversations we've had since last year's inaugural Solution Sprint, and have heard the same request over and over again - women need stronger local action networks that also enable them to engage in the national movement to revolutionize hospitality. In an effort to coalesce our communities, hear from stakeholders across the country and amplify your voices, we're hosting events in the following cities the fall:
New York City - September 23rd
Austin - October 7th
Chicago - October 21st
San Francisco - October 28th
Washington, D.C. - November 5th

Each ListenUP event will be built around developing the 2025 Hospitality Industry Equity Goals, a blueprint and action plan to address the industry’s most pressing issues, including those related to a safer, harassment-free workplace, ending the gender and racial wage gaps, and supporting a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline. At each stop on the tour, WiHU will work with a network of regional industry leaders and local partners (YOU!) to host a Solution Sprint, our signature event developed to center stakeholder voices and rapidly prototype ideas and initiatives, moving them quickly from discussion to action.

At the conclusion of the tour, WiHU, in collaboration with our partners, will issue an industry-facing call to action which will include a draft of the 2025 Hospitality Industry Equity Goals. This plan will outline the collective goals of the stakeholders represented on tour, along with steps for immediate action that can be taken to set new standards for equity, accountability, and transparency in our industry.
